For Vuk’s First Step: Sport and Humanity in the Fight for a Little Big Hero

On March 24, a humanitarian spectacle was held in the sports center Dinamik in Dorćol – the grand finale of the ALL STAR match of the Quantox IT League of Serbia.

The IT League of Serbia is a unique competition that gathers more than 40 companies from the IT sector from all over Serbia, which fight for the cup throughout the year – but also for those who need help the most. The organizers of the league, led by the Quantox Foundation, and with the support of numerous sponsors and friends of the project, collect valuable humanitarian aid every year. This year, help was collected for the little big hero Vuk Petković, who is fighting against the most severe form of cerebral palsy and who urgently needs an operation in Turkey – and for that he needs the help of all of us. This year, nine companies and foundations joined together in a humanitarian mission, with the great support of a large audience, who directly helped Vuk’s road to recovery with donations at the event itself. The Karić Brothers Foundation presented valuable prizes to the best athletes, while the representative of the Foundation Uroš Marković led the program of the humanitarian match. More than ten sponsors and friends of the humanitarian match, along with numerous competitors and guests, collected 168,600 dinars – a great help that is only a small part of the sum that Vuk needs for treatment in Turkey.
