As a humanitarian organization dedicated to providing aid to the most vulnerable categories of society, the Karić Brothers Foundation proudly supported the donor evening organized with the aim of purchasing a modern ultrasound machine for oncology patients of the Zaječar Health Center.

According to our president, Danica Karić Stojilković, this event for the Karić Brothers Foundation that continuously helps health institutions and vulnerable categories of the population by numerous activities, was another one in a row that confirms the mission we have been following for nearly fifty years, as long as we have been present and active in our humanitarian work.

The association for education, prevention and support of breast cancer patients “Woman with Woman” gathered number of donors, representatives of the health sector, business and civil society in order to jointly enable the purchase of the device, which is of crucial importance for early diagnosis, treatment monitoring and recovery of patients suffering from malignant diseases.

Dr. Saša Petrović, specialist in internal oncology at Zaječar Heath Center, pointed out the importance of this ultrasound machine:
“Modern diagnostics play a key role in the treatment of cancer patients. This device will enable more accurate monitoring of diseases and significantly improve the quality of medical care in our center.”

The president of the “Woman with Woman” Association, Ana Dornik, gave special attention to the power of joint action:
“This initiative proves that we can make a big difference with joint efforts. We’d like to thank all the donors and partners who supported this fundraising, because together we create conditions to improve treatment and provide hope to those fighting the disease.“

Any donation made by the Karić Brothers Foundation to other organizations, every gesture of support and every initiative launched by joint forces are part of significant contributions to better health care and more humane conditions for our community.
