Among the many institutions that supported this magnificent event, a special place belongs to the Karić Brothers Foundation, a long-time partner and true friend of the Festival. As in previous years, the Foundation once again confirmed its deep commitment to preserving Serbia’s cultural heritage and encouraging artistic expression rooted in national tradition.
This year, the Foundation had the honor of awarding one of the Festival’s most prestigious recognitions – the Special Trumpeter Statue, which was presented to Dejvid Bajramović from Bojnik, the best trumpeter of the 64th Dragačevo Festival. On behalf of the Foundation, the award was ceremonially presented by Mr. Dragomir J. Karić, accompanied by his grandchildren, Monika and Filip, symbolically highlighting the importance of passing down family values and respect for Serbian cultural tradition to future generations.
The contribution of the Karić Brothers Foundation goes beyond the award itself – it is a testament to the Foundation’s continuous investment in the preservation of national identity, by supporting cultural events that promote the authentic values of our people.
In addition to Bajramović, several other exceptional musicians were recognized: Vladimir Ivanović and his orchestra from Zagužanje were named Best Orchestra and earned the prestigious title of Trumpet Master, while the Golden Trumpet went to Dragan Pavlović from the Dragačevo Trumpet Orchestra. The Knjaževac Orchestra received recognition for the most authentic performance.
The festival concluded with the competition of 16 orchestras and a grand gala concert featuring performances by Ana Bekuta, Keba, and trumpet master Dejan Jevđić, once again confirming Guča’s status as the cultural capital of the Balkans.
The Karić Brothers Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to support, nurture, and preserve cultural manifestations that represent the heart and soul of Serbia, firmly believing that the strength of our future lies in the richness of our tradition.
